With a number of brands under the Bear Grylls umbrella, the team required a new website to bring everything together in one easy to navigate website.

Having completed the branding work for BG Epic - one of Bear’s projects - we were asked to design and build a content driven website.

The BGV team already had a number of existing platforms that they wanted to maintain, but felt they needed a central website to bring it all together and provide a seamless experience for their users, helping them to navigate to the area they require. The website also needed to cross promote additional products and keep fans up to date with latest news and events.

  • A central website to bring the brand areas together and provide direction for the overarching online brand

  • A full Content Management System (CMS)

  • Incorporation of the existing e-commerce functionality (based on Magento) with the new site

  • A responsive site to work across a range of devices

  • An easy to use website that will help fans to navigate to the products or services they require

Our web designers set to work to create an online brand that reflected the values of Bear Grylls but also worked alongside the various sub-brands that it represents.

To help visitors to navigate through the different areas of the site, we designed a set of icons to represent the main areas. Alongside this, we incorporated a number of images of Bear in action to promote a personal connection.

The use of a masonry post-style throughout the site enable the team to showcase their breadth of content and promote various sub-brands.

The website is responsive for viewing on desktop, mobile and tablet devices.
