Ventutec are pleased to have been chosen as a training provider for Women2Web, a project designed to support female entrepreneurs across Worcestershire.
Since last year when Women2Web was launched, Worcestershire County Council has worked with the Chamber of Commerce, Federation of Small Business and Midwest Rural Enterprise Network and Women in Rural Business (WiRE) to offer a series of free female business networking and training workshops across the County.
The 3 hour training sessions are open to any female living, starting or those who already own a business in Worcestershire.
The sessions are designed to be informative and interactive and attendees are sure to come away with lots of new ideas and inspiration. The sessions also provide the ideal opportunity to meet like minded business women who can share their own experiences and knowledge.
The Ventutec team are running the following sessions:
4th February – Droitwich 10am-1pm – Software Tools for Business Owners
This is session will provide an overview of software that is available for business. Project Management Software, Sage Vs Other Accounting Software, Social Media Scheduling, Skype for virtual meetings, Paypal & what to look for when buying tech support.
12th March – Worcester (double session) – Website creation and maintenance
This double session will outline the platforms that can be used for creating a website and talk you through the basics of setting up your site. The afternoon session will then go onto maintenance of a site and how to make your site stand out.
9th March – Pershore – Search Engine Optimisation
This session will look at how businesses can maximise their online presence within natural search listings and the tricks of search engine optimisation.
